06-January-1972 (Donnerstag—Thur.)

Tirolian ski venue

TRANSCRIPT

St. Anton
Last day of ski lessons. Did a lot of skiing. Weather was beautiful—sunny and clear. Not good for snow, however. I love the skiing. I could imagine if the conditions were really good.

At night went dancing.

REFLECTIONS

German days. Notice how, suddenly, my journal is starting to use the German names for the days of the week. Whoa! I’ll also continue to use the English abbreviation.

Tirolian ski venue II
Sunny skiing. Today was a great ski day. I suspect that most of my pictures came from today, as the weather was sunny. Of course, the sun also makes the snow soft sometimes, and perhaps this affected the skiing. That’s nature. There is no control over Mother Nature, you have to live with it. What I like is that, every day, the ski school did a lot of skiing. Last day of lessons. Nice. I’ll post a couple of photos. I don't know the exact venue of these pictures.

Dancing. At night I go dancing? How come I can’t remember this? So, I guess I found a local night-spot, probably a bar, that had a rock band and I went dancing. Good for me. I don’t remember a thing. I'm not one of those guys who dances alone, so I suppose I met a girl or two. Winking
